Our Mission
A Message from Our Founder
My name is Ana Martinez, and I began caregiving in 2006 during one of the most challenging seasons of my life. While working multiple jobs to support my family, I met Maria Santiago, a woman who believed in me and showed me what it truly means to care with heart, dignity, and professionalism. That moment changed everything. I discovered that caregiving was not just a job, but my calling.
After years of caring for a beloved client, more families began reaching out. As the need grew, I invited my sister, my children, and close friends to join me. Together, we created a circle of care rooted in love, trust, and family values.
When it came time to name our growing team, MALU was born. “MA” stands for Martinez, and “LU” for Luevanos, my son-in-law’s last name. Over time, MALU came to mean much more than initials. It represents peace, shelter, and the promise of care delivered with dignity and respect.
Today, with our licensed agency All Desert Home Care, and the continued support of my family, we remain committed to serving the Coachella Valley with the same values we began with. No matter how much we grow, we will always be a family-first agency, grounded in love, guided by integrity, and driven by a purpose to care with excellence.
